Reconnecting Your Audio

Task: How to reconnect to meeting audio when you've joined via a laptop or desktop computer (integrated portal)

Each time your meeting role has changed, you will need to reconnect your audio within the GetQuorum Portal. This applies to the following scenarios:

  • Attendee promotion to Panelist
  • Panelist moved back to Attendee
  • Attendee/Panelist promotion to Co-Host
  • Co-Host moved back to Panelist/Attendee

Instructions

  1. Once you've rejoined the meeting with your new role, press the "Join Audio" button in the bottom-left corner of the control panel. 
  2. Next, click on the blue "join by computer audio" button.
  3. If you still cannot hear anything, you can choose the "Phone Call" option, which will prompt you to use your telephone to listen to the meeting audio. 
  4. Alternatively, or if audio issues persist, you can join the meeting using the Zoom application by clicking on "Open in Zoom" at the top of the screen.
