Proxy Override Feature
Previously, owners needed to revoke their proxy in order to participate in any live vote. As the host, you can now enable the proxy override option for a voting matter. This allows an owner to “lock in” their advanced votes from a proxy on the record, while still allowing them to participate in any new voting matters that may arise, such as a tiebreaker.

What is the Proxy Override feature?
- Voters are prompted to self-revoke their proxy inside of the meeting/voting portal before the live vote period begins if they would like to participate in the live vote.
- This helps to ensure that there are no changes in advanced voting data midway through a meeting.
- With our latest update, the host can now choose to allow voters with a proxy on record to vote in new voting matters (i.e. an election tiebreaker) without their previous votes from the proxy being removed.
- The goal of this feature is to allow any new live vote questions to be voted upon by all owners during the meeting, regardless of whether an owner has kept their proxy on record.
