(Moderator) Calling in an Attendee

đź’ˇ This page covers various methods for having an attendee who is having technical issues call-in to a meeting.

Summary

The main reason you'll likely need to call-in in attendee is if they've having some kind of technical issue either joining the meeting, or they've already joined and are having audio issues.

Steps

  1. If they've joined with the Integrated Portal, direct them to click the call in link at the top of their screen.

  1. Directly email them the Dial-in Information from the Membership, by going to Membership, clicking the applicable Unit, then Owner, EMAIL VOTER, then choose Dial-in Information from the drop-down menu,

  1. Direct them to the User Guide that was sent to them in the Notice of Meeting email they were sent, or to the Files section in the Meeting Portal. This can be reached either through the sidebar on the right if they've joined with the Integrated Portal, or through the email they joined the meeting with.

Basic Dial-in Attendee Functions

  • Raise their hand by pressing *9.
  • Accept prompts to unmute by pressing *6.

Tips & Important Reminders

âť—Calling-in an attendee is often a last resort, and ideally, we'd have them join through the Zoom Client first, which can also be done by clicking the Open in Zoom link at the top of the screen, if they've joined with the Integrated Portal.
