(Moderator) Updating Owner-Occupied Status

💡 This page covers how to change the status of an owner from owner_occupied: false to true if they reach out in the Q/A stating they can’t vote.

Summary

During the meeting, an attendee may reach out asking why they cannot vote, and after some investigation you can determine that their status indicates they are owner_occupied: false, and cannot participate in the OO vote. You may also be asked by the client to update this information. In either case, follow the steps below to update the record.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Membership.
  2. Locate and expand the Unit in question.

  3. Click the owner_occupied custom field.

  4. Change false to true, then Save.

Tips & Important Reminders

❗ It’s important to receive confirmation from the client (Chair/PM) before proceeding with any Membership updates and to provide Support with an update of what information is being updated or changed.

đź‘€ If there is already a vote ongoing, instruct the attendee to refresh their browser for the changes to take effect.

âť— The restriction is case-sensitive, so ensure it's lower-case.

đź‘€ Only those marked as true can vote for the Owner-Occupied election.
