(Moderator) Meeting Recordings
đź’ˇ This page covers client overage charges, and when they come into effect.
Summary
We have recently updated the slides to better indicate to clients that the meeting is recorded, and for what purpose. If the client requests the recording to be stopped, we will respond with the following disclaimer (see below), explaining why we record them.
Details
Reasons for Recording the Meeting
- Liability: ensure that we have proof and protection should there be a future challenge to our service
- Quality Assurance and Training: Ensure we can improve our services
- Complaint resolution: This allows us to investigate issues brought up by our customers so we can determine how to resolve complaints
Recording Disclaimer
“GetQuorum records all Virtual Meetings held on the GetQuorum platform for training, quality assurance, and compliance purposes. The recordings remain the property of GetQuorum. However, the recordings may also form part of a customer’s corporate records. Upon request or otherwise in accordance with applicable law, a copy of the recording may be made available to the customer.”
Our new Pre-Meeting slide that covers recordings coupled with our standard explanation should be enough to inform clients why we record a meeting, however, they may still request it to be turned off. If the client insists, we can accommodate the request and ask them to send us a confirmation email of the request to: voters@getquorum.com.
Tips & Important Reminders
âť— We will continue to record the meeting until the email confirmation is received and confirmed by the Support team.
âť— If any prompt to allow for a recording to be saved to a local device is received, it is to be denied; an official copy of the recording will be provided to the client after the meeting.
