(Moderator) Voting Troubleshooting

💡 This page covers the various troubleshooting tips if an attendee is having issues voting.

❗ We no longer private chat the Live Vote URL due to privacy/integrity concerns.

Typically, if an attendee or panelist indicates they are having issues voting, one of the reasons below is likely the cause if they've joined through the Integrated Portal. If they've joined through the Zoom App (mobile device, Panelist), their voting issue may stem from not receiving or finding the vote email.

Possible Issues to Check

Attendees & Panelists

  • Have they joined through a unit that was consolidated to another unit (Multi-Unit Owner)? (noemail@getquorum.com, Shares held under Unit XXX)
  • Are they properly marked as "In Attendance" in the Membership?
  • Are they eligible? (arrears, shares = 0, custom ineligible_reason)
  • Is owner-occupied status preventing them from voting?
  • Do they have a Proxy submission?
  • Have they already voted live? (Check VIEW VOTES on the Overview)
  • Ask them to temporarily disable any ad blocker or privacy blocker, as they could interfere with the Meeting Portal/Integrated Portal.

Exclusive to Panelists

  • Does their Panelist email match their Membership Unit email? (If applicable.)

Steps

Resend the Meeting Invite Email

  • For Panelists, those joined on a mobile device, or anyone who joined with the Zoom software, resending the email invite may resolve the issue.

Ask them to vote manually

  • If issues persist, confirm with the Chair, and ask the individual to submit their vote(s) to voters@getquorum.com. Inform Support and await confirmation for the votes to be accounted for.
  • In some cases, the client may confirm accepting the vote through Q/A is acceptable, however, this is not the preferred method. If this is the way they wish to proceed, please acquire a screenshot of the Q/A vote from the attendee.

👀 We try to account for the vote in our system first, but if you've had to extend voting once already, it'll be quicker to acquire it manually if it's delaying the meeting. The Chair may decide to move on if the outstanding vote(s) won't impact the outcome.
