(Moderator) Q/A
💡 This page covers the webinar Q/A feature.
Summary
The Q/A feature is specific to webinars, so the majority of meetings we host for clients. It is mainly used by our team for addressing technical questions that attendees may have throughout the meeting. Below covers various different aspects of the Q/A feature.
Steps
Answering Submitted Questions
- Click Answer Live to mark the question as one that will be answered out loud during the meeting.
- Click Type Answer to provide a written response for the participant. Type your answer and click Send.
👀 If you allow participants to comment on questions, the questions will still appear in the Open list and can be responded to, even if a participant has commented on the question.
(Optional) Select the Send Privately checkbox before clicking Send if you would like to respond only to the participant. Leaving this unchecked will allow everyone to see the Question and Answer.
Dismissing Questions
- As the host or co-host, click Q&A in the meeting controls.
- Hover over the question you would like to dismiss and click the ellipsis icon (***).
- Tap Dismiss or Delete.
👀 Dismissed questions will no longer be visible to participants and will be moved to the Dismissed tab for the host and co-hosts, while deleted questions will be permanently removed and cannot be reopened.
Reopen Dismissed Questions
- As the host or co-host, click Q&A in the meeting controls.
- Click the Dismissed tab.
- Locate the question you would like to reopen and click Reopen.
Turning off Q/A
If the client requests Q/A to be turned off, this can be completed by:
- Click Q&A at the bottom.
- In the Q&A window, click the gear icon at the top right.
- Uncheck Attendees can submit questions.
- Attendees will now see a message stating "Questions are closed" if they attempt to submit.

❗ Our team is mainly responsible for handling any Q/A that pertains to technical questions regarding the platform or voting. Any corporation-related questions should be addressed by the client.
