Registration & Attendance
- Attendance is an automatic process which occurs in the background with the GetQuorum Dash; it begins once the moderator opens up the Zoom webinar to all attendees
- Because of the GetQuorum & Zoom API connection, when an owner joins the virtual meeting using their unique link (sent to the same email address as in our system), the GetQuorum dash will automatically mark the unit as present
- The GetQuorum system will also pick up any early joiners, so you may see an owner marked as present in the dash but not actually in the Zoom Webinar
Attendance Numbers from the GetQuorum Dashboard
Number for Quorum =Advanced Voting + Eligible Shares
On the Overview page, you will see a box on the bottom right of the grid labelled Total Shares in Attendance for Quorum (Total Units in Attendance for Quorum). This number will automatically provide you with the number for quorum, by adding the number of proxies/submissions by shares with the number of eligible units/shares in attendance.
Tip: before announcing the number for quorum, refresh your web browser to ensure you have the most updated attendance numbers
There are two attendance numbers on the Overview page of the GetQuorum Dash that you need to be aware of:
- Advanced Voting Summary: shows the number of electronic proxies received.
- Assuming you have converted your paper proxies into electronic proxies, this number will reflect all of the proxies received.

FAQ
1. Where can I see the owners who are in attendance?
Head over to the Membership tab, and click on the filters button near the top-right of the page to filter the membership by owners who are in attendance. You can learn more about how to filter here!
2. What if there is an owner in attendance with multiple units?
As long as we have the same email address under each of their units, the GetQuorum dashboard will mark all of their units as in attendance. You can confirm this by viewing the units in attendance under the Membership tab. You can learn more about this here!
3. What is a share?
Every unit has one vote or one share. You will see on the overview page that the attendance numbers are shown in units as well as in shares. It's important to use the "shares" numbers as these will include any units in our system with more than one share.
