Guide: Understanding Survey Results

The survey results will vary depending on which type of question you used and the number of responses the survey receives. This guide displays what you results might resemble and how to understand them.

Single and Multi-Answer Results

A bar graph will be shown for single or multi-answer questions and will display which will display the different responses.

The top of the graph with show which question the graph is regarding. The Y-Axis displays which answers were selected and the X-axis displays how many respondents selected that answer. For example if a 1 respondent selected option A, the graph would look similar to this:


Freeform Results

For freeform answers, you will see the question at the top and will be prompted to "Click here to view the responses" and will be able to see the different responses to the question.

Scale Results

For Scale questions, you will be shown a graph and an average rating. The average shows the average star rating which was given by the respondents. The graph will show the selected rating and how many people selected that number.


Once your survey is completed you will be able to view your results from the Overview tab.

You will also be able to download the results from the blue icon labelled DOWNLOAD RESULTS and click on the drop-down menu as either a CSV or PDF. In this section you will also be able to see the number of respondents to your survey and how many members have not completed the survey yet.
